At a time when country music artists seem to be "discovered" in corporate board rooms, and their music manufactured in multimillion-dollar studios, it is reassuring to know that the heart of America's music can still be found. And it's beating in guys like Michael Edward.

Michael, who was born in Montgomery, Alabama, fondly remembers sitting on the front porch at the age of 7 with his uncle Michael Wayne (Nashville Recording Artist), picking out traditional country tunes. It proved to be one of those experiences that defines who you are - and who you will be. Sitting there on that porch with his uncle, Michael knew what he wanted to do with his life. He was determined to carry on the tradition of his idols, including George Jones, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings and Keith Whitley and he is doing just that. When he sings their songs, he does so with a conviction and depth that can't be faked. A multi-instrumentalist, Michael can expertly switch from Christian to outlaw to ballads. 

Michael Edward is a traditional country artist- plain and simple. But the depth and emotion of his music is anything but. This is country music the way it should be, with all the heartbreak and hope that defines America's music.
